The primary objective of the GBS Recovery nonprofit is to bridge the gap in care for individuals who no longer qualify for Medicaid but still require support in their recovery journey
What We Do:
The program seeks to enhance participants' recovery capital by providing structured peer support, education, and resource navigation. Specific goals include fostering resilience through peer support groups, equipping individuals with tools for financial, emotional, and physical well-being, and facilitating access to essential services such as healthcare, housing, and employment assistance. By offering a trauma-informed and community-driven approach, the program aims to empower participants to rebuild their lives with confidence and stability.
